Movie Review:

This film is about an unknown, red, gooey substance that envelopes anything it feels. An old man is the first to have contact with the goo, and it soon begins to grow to an enormous size. Steve, a teenager, then witnesses the goo demolishing a police officer. He and his girlfriend warn others of the dangerous goo that is spreading around town.

The title song "The Blob" by The Five Blobs was written by Burt Bacharach and Mack David. This song definitely adds to the eeriness of the film.
