Rosemary Clooney was a popular singer and actress during the 1950's. She is well known for her hits such as "Come On-a My House" and "Hey There." She also starred in the successful holiday film, White Christmas (1954).
In 1945, Rosemary and her sister, Betty, began their singing careers by performing duets on the radio. The following year, they began working with the famous band leader, Tony Pastor. They soon began recording songs with Pastor's band, such as "I'm Sorry I Didn't Say I'm Sorry (When I Made You Cry Last Night)." Some of their other songs are "When You're In Love," and "If I Had A Million Dollars."
In 1951, Clooney had success with the songs "Beautiful Brown Eyes," and "Come On-a My House." She then recorded songs such as "Botch-a-Me," "This Ole House," and "Mambo Italiano."
Rosemary Clooney is definitely one of my favorite singers! My favorite songs of hers are "I Could Have Danced All Night," and "I Only Have Eyes for You."
